1. What is additional insurance?

Yes. All persons residing in Switzerland are legally obliged to take out mandatory basic insurance under the Health Insurance Act (KVG) – regardless of age or health status.

2. Why should I take out additional insurance?

Additional insurance complements basic insurance in a targeted manner:

  • Close gaps: e.g. costs for dental treatments or alternative medicine.

  • Protection for every need: Whether for families, travelers or health-conscious people – you can adapt your protection individually.
